PHASIA Privacy Policy

PHASIA ("PHASIA", "we", "us") is a personal rest and sleep audio app operated by Alyssa Lindaas LLC. You record affirmations in your own voice (or generate an AI voice), and PHASIA blends them beneath a soundscape to play back while you rest or sleep. This policy explains what the app does with your information.

PHASIA has no user accounts and does not track you across apps or websites.

What we collect and why

• Voice recordings. When you record affirmations, the audio is captured and processed entirely on your device. Your recordings are never uploaded to our servers or sent to any third party. The looped voice layer that plays in your track is created on your device from your recording and kept on your device. We never receive, keep, share, or sell your recordings, and we do not use them to train any model. If you instead choose the optional AI voice, no recording is used; only your affirmation text is sent to our text-to-speech provider, ElevenLabs, to synthesize the audio.
• The words you write. The focus, intentions, and any specific goals you enter are used to generate your affirmations. That text is sent to our affirmation-generation provider (Anthropic) to produce the words. If you choose the AI voice, your affirmation text is also sent to our text-to-speech provider (ElevenLabs) to synthesize the audio. These providers process the text to return content and do not use it to identify you.

  The goals and intentions you type are sent to our AI provider to write your affirmations. They are not linked to your identity, and our server does not store them. Because this text is processed by a third party, we suggest you avoid including details you would not want shared, such as full names or addresses.

• App content you create. Your tracks, journal check-ins, name and preferences are stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Your device may include this data, such as your tracks and voice layers, in your own device backups (for example iCloud Backup or a computer backup). Those backups are controlled by you through your Apple account, not by us, and we cannot access them.
• Subscription status. If you subscribe, the purchase is processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which assigns an anonymous identifier to track entitlement. We never see your card or full Apple ID. See "Subscriptions" below.
• A free-usage flag. To enforce the one free track, we store a single non-personal "free track used" flag in your device's secure storage (Keychain). It contains no personal information.

What we do NOT do

• No accounts, logins, email collection, or profiles.
• No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
• No selling or sharing of your personal information.
• No collection of contacts, location, photos, or browsing activity.
• No use of your recordings or inputs to train AI models.

Subscriptions

Purchases and renewals are handled by Apple through your App Store account. RevenueCat processes purchase events and an anonymous app-user ID to tell the app whether you have an active subscription. Apple's and RevenueCat's handling of this data is governed by their own privacy policies. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

Notifications

If you turn on the nightly reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. We do not run a push server and do not receive information about your reminders.

Third parties who process data for us

• Anthropic generates affirmation text from the words you enter.
• ElevenLabs synthesizes the optional AI voice from your affirmation text.
• Railway hosts our affirmation-generation and optional AI-voice servers.
• Expo delivers over-the-air app updates and receives standard request information such as your app version, platform, and IP address. It does not receive your recordings, affirmations, or personal content.
• RevenueCat and Apple process subscription purchases and status.

Each processes data only to provide their function to PHASIA, under their own terms and privacy policies.

Your control and deletion

Because your tracks, check-ins, and settings live on your device, deleting the app removes that data. In-app, "Delete all my data" clears your tracks and notes. We hold no server-side copy of your recordings, so there is nothing on our side to delete. There are no accounts to delete. Age

PHASIA is intended for adults and rated 17+. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will address it.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change accordingly, and material changes will be reflected in the app or on our site.
